Paul F. Granello, Ph.D., LPCC is an Associate Professor of Counselor Education at The Ohio State University, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and one of the co-founders of the State of Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation. He has authored or co-authored five books (three on suicide) and published over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. He has received $2.5 million in grant funding for suicide prevention and presented more than 200 times at national and international conferences.

Gayathri Ramprasad is the Founder and President of ASHA International a nonprofit organization promoting personal, organizational, and community wellness. She is a mental health advocate and a social entrepreneur with a unique insight into the world of mental health. And, the author of Shadows in the Sun: Healing from Depression and Finding the Light Within. Her successful battle in overcoming life-threatening mental illness and her amazing recovery taught her the power of hope and holistic wellness. Now, she shares that message with others. Dr. Zanetos is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the College of Coastal Georgia. She has countless years of experience as a registered nurse and nurse educator in higher education. She is published in nursing journals and has been a previous speaker at the International Conference for Geriatrics and Gerontology.

Professor Ivbijaro is a specialist in Primary Care Mental Health and mental health service re-design. He produced‘ Integrating Mental Health Into Primary Care: a global perspective with WHO in 2008, has presented papers and original thinking on primary care mental health integration at many local and international conferences and has published a range of articles in peer reviewed journals. He recently edited a book entitled ‘Companion to Primary Care Mental Health’ an international collaboration of 110 authors from all continents of the world, published in 2012, to promote access to and delivery of primary care mental health globally which received a five star (100%) Doody’s Review. Professor Ivbijaro chaired and completed the Case for Change for Mental Health for London, UK in 2011,has contributed to the Mental Health Service Pack in the European Union (EU) which advocates for the development of mental health services in all member states of the EU and his contribution to the UK National Health Service was recognized in 2012 when he was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) by her Majesty the Queen and is an International Distinguished Fellow of the APA (American Psychiatric Association).He is the President of the World Dignity Project (www.worlddignityproject.com) to address stigma.

His area of interest is the empowerment of primary care worldwide to embrace the principles behind the Alma Ata declaration.

Associate Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Monastir (Tunisia), he is responsible for the unit of child psychiatry, specializing in the management of patients with neurodevelopmental disorders. He has conducted research on autism, learning disorders and ADD / ADHD (prevalence studies , validation and cross-cultural studies of common neurodevelopmental trajectories). It is also a national expert in the specific learning disabilities and co- founder of several community structures for autism. Currently he is President of the African Association for Mental Health of Children and Adolescents and Coordinator of the main training program of the International Association for Child Psychiatry and adolescents.

Dr. Black received his MD from the University of Utah, and completed his residency training in psychiatry at the University of Iowa. Professor Volicer received MD from Charles University and PhD in pharmacology from the Czechoslovak Academy of Science. He was the medical director of a 100 bed dementia unit and established the first program using palliative care for patients with advanced dementia. Professor Volicer is currently teaching and doing research at University of South Florida, Charles University and University of Western Sydney. He published over 250 peer reviewed articles and 7 books and is serving as an editor or an editorial board member of several scientific journals.

Dr. Cassidy is the Clinical Academic Director of Dalhousie’s Geriatric Psychiatry / Seniors Mental Health Program of the Nova Scotia Health Authority, a multidisciplinary outreach, outpatient and inpatient service serving seniors in Nova Scotia. Dr. Cassidy is the Co-Chair of the Nova Scotia Seniors’ Mental Health Network (NSSMHN) and director of the NSSMHN Geriatric Psychiatry Continuing Medical Education Program. Dr. Cassidy served as Board Member of the Canadian Academy for Geriatric Psychiatry (CAGP) from 2005-2011 and rejoined the Board in 2015.

Carl C. Bell, M.D. is a staff psychiatrist in the Psychosis Program, and Professor in the Department of Psychiatry in the School of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is also a Clinical professor of Public Health at the School of Public Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In addition, Dr. Bell is staff psychiatrist at Jackson Park Hospital’s Family Practice Clinic and at St. Bernard Hospital’s Inpatient Psychiatric Unit. He is the former Director of the Institute of Juvenile Research and the former President/C.E.O. of the Community Mental Health Council, Inc. He earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1967, and Medical Degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee in 1971. He completed his residency in Psychiatry in 1974 after training at the Illinois State Psychiatric Institute and the Institute for Juvenile Research in Chicago. Dr. Bell is an internationally recognized authority on racism, misdiagnosis of affective disorders, children exposed to violence prevention, HIV prevention, Isolated Sleep paralysis, and resiliency. He has an extensive background in psychiatric treatment, research, education, and administration. Author or co-author of more than 400 books, monographs, chapters, articles and technical reports.

Mary is Professor of Mental Health Nursing and Director of the Centre for Public Engagement at Kingston University and St George's, University of London. Throughout her career she has held a number of clinical, managerial and academic positions including coordinator of the Northern Ireland Centre for Health Informatics. She is a fellow of both the Royal Society of Medicine and the European Academy of Nurse Scientists, and an expert panel member of the European Association for Psychiatric Nurses. Mary has a well-established record of patient and public involvement (PPI) in education and research dating back to the 1980s. Outcomes of her work have had impact nationally and internationally. Integral to this work has been the co-production and delivery of education programmes, as well as PPI at all stages of the research process.

Leslie S. Zun, M.D., M.B.A. is the System Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine in the Sinai Health System in Chicago, Illinois and Chairman & Professor, Department of Emergency Medicine and a secondary appointment in the Department of Psychiatry at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois. His background includes a medical degree (M.D.) from Rush Medical College and a business degree (M.B.A.) from Northwestern University's JL Kellogg School of Management. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Zun was a chief operating officer and acting chief executive officer for a 200 bed hospital in Chicago. Dr Zun’s research interests include healthcare administration, violence prevention and behavioral emergencies. His publications have addressed the administration of the hospitals and emergency departments, physicians’ bonus and incentive plans and quality improvement topics. He has presented his research and lectured on these topics both nationally and internationally. He is a board member of American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the President Elect for the American Association for Emergency Psychiatry. He is the chief editor of the Behavioral Emergencies for Emergency Physicians textbook and course director for the past five years for the National Update on Behavioral Emergencies conference.

Professor Richard Morriss is a Consultant in General Adult and Community Psychiatry with Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and Professor of Psychiatry and Community Mental Health at the University of Nottingham. Professor Morriss has worked in Nottingham since 2006 and was a previously a senior lecturer in Manchester and professor in Liverpool. He trained in psychiatry in Leeds, Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore United States, Oxford and Manchester. He has a MD from University of Leeds. Professor Morriss has clinical interests in mood disorders, somatization and primary care psychiatry. His research interests are in the management of bipolar affective disorder, depression and medically unexplained symptoms in primary and secondary care settings. He has expertise in research involving complex interventions including psychological treatment. He is the Director of Research for the CLAHRC and leads the CLAHRC Mental Health research theme. He leads CLAHRC projects on specialist mood disorders service for depression not responding to routine care and on frequent attendance in primary care where it is related to depression, anxiety and medically explained symptoms. He currently has a NIHR programme grant in bipolar disorder (PARADES) and recently funded research from the NHS HTA programme and Medical Research Council. Professor Morriss was also a member of the NICE Guideline Development Group (GDG) for Bipolar Disorder. He is currently a member of the NICE mental health panel and a national working group looking at Improved Access to Psychological Treatment for medically unexplained symptoms and long-term physical conditions with depression and anxiety.

I am a Professor in Mental Health Research in the Centre for Mental Health. I also work as an Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist at the Waterview Centre a specialist service for people with personality disorder provided by Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust. I trained in psychiatry at the Royal Free and Maudsley Hospital and in epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Following this I completed an MD on the management of suicidal behaviour. My primary academic interest is in mental health services research. I am involved in the development and evaluation of psychosocial interventions for people with complex mental health needs such as those with personality disorder and psychoses. Current projects include clinical trials of creative therapies, brief intervention for alcohol misuse and problem solving therapy. I also work for the Royal College of Psychiatrists as the Director of the Centre for Quality Improvement. This involves helping run national audits, quality networks and accreditation programmes aimed at improving the quality of mental health services.

Professor WK Tang was appointed to professor in the Department of Psychiatry, the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011. His main research areas are Addictions and Neuropsychiatry in Stroke. Professor Tang has published over 100 papers in renowned journals, and has also contributed to the peer review of 40 journals. He has secured over 20 major competitive research grants. He has served the editorial boards of five scientific journals. He was also a recipient of the Young Researcher Award in 2007, awarded by the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
